Director of Card Operations

Job Summary

Leading the operational infrastructure for a growing card business, the full-time remote Director of Card Operations will manage card processing, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the operational leader for Sunbit's card platform, driving performance and scalability
• Act as the primary expert for Fiserv and related card processing partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Lead operational workstreams for major card initiatives, including new product launches and fraud initiatives

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in card operations, payments, fintech, or banking
• Deep expertise with Fiserv/First Data card processing platforms
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale card operations and developing high-performing teams
• Strong understanding of card issuing operations and lifecycle management
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
