Director of Carrier Management

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end process for onboarding and offboarding providers, the full-time remote Director of Carrier Management will build strong relationships with insurance carriers, manage cross-functional initiatives, and ensure effective communication and project tracking across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the onboarding and offboarding processes for providers, ensuring timely launches in collaboration with the implementation team
• Design and refine the carrier and provider vetting/onboarding process as the partner ecosystem expands
• Act as the project management function for carrier-related initiatives, maintaining accountability and tracking progress across teams

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional initiatives and maintaining centralized project documentation
• Proven ability to build and sustain trust with external partners, even during challenging conversations
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on protecting the company's interests
• Organizational skills to track multiple partners, projects, and open items effectively
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and surface risks before they escalate
