Director of Category Management

Job Summary

To drive strategic initiatives, the full-time salaried Director of Category Management will develop multi-year category strategies, lead complex sourcing events, and manage supplier relationships while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business priorities and monitor industry trends
• Lead sourcing events, negotiations, and supplier selection processes to maximize commercial value
• Build executive-level supplier relationships and manage supplier performance and innovation initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field
• Eight to twelve years of category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement experience
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing category strategies for significant spend portfolios
• Experience in leading complex negotiations and managing strategic supplier relationships
• Strong financial analysis and business case development skills
