Director of Central Planning

Job Summary

Leading demand forecasting, inventory management, and pricing strategies, the full-time remote Director of Central Planning will oversee the integration of inventory KPIs into the demand forecast process while collaborating with Finance, Marketing, and Inventory teams to ensure alignment across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Drive improvements in demand forecasting and inventory management by establishing accurate demand forecasts and aligning them with marketing efforts
• Oversee pricing strategies and liquidation efforts, ensuring they align with demand forecasts and business goals
• Develop and present high-level monthly reports on demand, inventory, and pricing to executives, while identifying trends and providing actionable insights

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or pricing strategy, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of inventory KPIs and advanced analytical skills to interpret data and develop insights
• Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Marketing, and Planning teams
• Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment
