Director of Claims Analytics
Job Summary
Leading a high-impact analytics function, the full-time remote Director of Claims Analytics will transform insurance claims operations through data, overseeing analytics platforms, stakeholder engagement, and operational improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Own the analytics and visualization platform for claims, ensuring user-friendly and well-governed reporting solutions
- Act as the primary contact for claims-related analytical needs, translating complex findings into actionable insights for senior stakeholders
- Lead system implementation projects and process improvement initiatives across the claims lifecycle, focusing on efficiency and performance enhancement
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics, with a focus on insurance claims
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with claims data and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Previous managerial experience leading multi-disciplinary teams within a matrix organization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL for data manipulation; familiarity with Python/R and cloud platforms is a plus
