Director of Claims Operations

Job Summary

Leading strategic operational initiatives, the full-time remote Director of Claims Operations will focus on subrogation optimization, claims governance, and vendor management oversight to support the modernization and transformation of the Claims organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive subrogation operating model and establish standardized processes for recovery opportunities
• Lead the modernization of Claims guidelines and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices
• Oversee the Claims vendor management program, evaluating vendor performance and optimizing service delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or industry designations preferred
• 8+ years of experience in Claims operations, strategy, or governance within the insurance industry
• Strong understanding of property & casualty claims operations and subrogation processes
• Experience in leading operational transformation and process improvement initiatives
• Demonstrated experience with vendor management and third-party oversight
