Director of Clinical Data Management

Job Summary

Leading the strategic and operational direction for Clinical Data Management teams, the remote Director of Clinical Data Management will ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery of data management services while advancing modern, technology-enabled capabilities and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for Clinical Data Management teams, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction across global programs
• Drive the modernization of Clinical Data Management operations through the adoption of AI/ML-enabled data review, automation, and innovative methodologies
• Build and develop high-performing teams through effective coaching, mentoring, and talent development while maintaining compliance with quality standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive Clinical Data Management experience, including leading global delivery teams
• Experience managing customer relationships and leading customer-facing delivery organizations
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams
• Experience with modern clinical data platforms and data management modernization initiatives, including AI-enabled capabilities
