Director of Clinical Data Management

Job Summary

Leading the global implementation of enhanced Clinical Data Management processes, the full-time remote Director of Clinical Data Management will oversee data management delivery, standardize study timelines, and ensure inspection readiness across assigned portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the implementation of new processes and technologies in Clinical Data Management while ensuring compliance and optimization for end-user needs
• Provide enterprise-level oversight of study timelines and deliverables, coordinating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks
• Champion operational excellence and change management initiatives across regions and service providers to enhance user adoption and harmonization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's/MS Degree or equivalent, with 10+ years of data management experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• At least 7 years of experience managing vendor relationships and strategic partnerships
• 5+ years of line management experience, preferably with second-level management experience
• Expert knowledge of FDA and ICH regulations applicable to data management processes
• Strong understanding of relational databases and experience with clinical data management systems
