Director of Clinical Data Management

Job Summary

Leading study-level data management activities, the full-time Director of Clinical Data Management will oversee data deliverables for oncology clinical trials, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary data management lead for assigned clinical trials, ensuring high-quality data deliverables and developing study-specific data management plans
• Coordinate data review, query management, and cleaning activities, supporting interim and final database lock processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and oversee third-party vendors to ensure timely and quality data management practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, data science/statistics/math, computer science, health informatics, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of clinical data management experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO industry
• 3+ years of experience managing people, vendors, and functional teams
• Strong working knowledge of clinical data systems, preferably Medidata Rave, and CDISC standards
• Thorough understanding of GCP, ICH, and relevant regulatory guidelines
