Director of Clinical Monitoring

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Clinical Monitoring to oversee and manage clinical trial operations and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor Managers of Clinical Monitoring and oversee staffing needs for the Clinical Monitoring Team
• Ensure quality, efficiency, and timeliness of project deliverables by collaborating with CTO Functional Leads and Project Managers
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and report on staffing development progress and performance metrics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 6 years of clinical monitoring or clinical team lead experience
• At least 4 years of experience managing CRAs and 2 years at Associate Director level or above preferred
• Strong understanding of the drug development process and CRA team structures
• Experience in developing and mentoring staff
• Proven ability to balance competing priorities and lead teams to resolution
