Director of Clinical Operations

Job Summary

Providing strategic and operational leadership for global clinical trial execution, the remote Director of Clinical Operations will oversee the lung portfolio, ensuring compliance with corporate timelines, budgets, and regulatory standards while managing internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute global clinical operations strategies for Phase 1-3 clinical trials, ensuring efficient and compliant study execution
• Lead oversight and governance of CROs and vendors, managing performance, quality, and budget accountability
• Build and mentor high-performing Clinical Operations teams while fostering collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• B.S./B.A. in Life Science or related discipline; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of applicable industry experience in Clinical Operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing global Phase 2 and/or Phase 3 clinical trials
• Strong understanding of FDA, EMA, PMDA, ICH-GCP guidelines, and global clinical trial regulations
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
