Job Summary
To support oncology programs across all phases of clinical development, the full-time Director of Clinical Pharmacology will develop and execute clinical pharmacology strategies, represent the department on clinical study teams, and collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external partners.
Key responsibilities
- Independently represent the Clinical Pharmacology department on clinical development teams, contributing to trial designs and authoring study protocols
- Design and implement program-specific clinical pharmacology strategies, managing CROs for related studies and activities
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives and communicate results effectively to clinical study teams and regulatory agencies
Required qualifications
- Advanced degree (MD, MD/PhD, PhD, or PharmD) in clinical pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related fields
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in clinical pharmacology within the pharmaceutical industry, research institutions, or regulatory agencies
- Expertise in pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, drug metabolism, and population PKPD modeling, with experience using tools like NONMEM and R
- Familiarity with the drug development process, particularly in oncology, and prior experience with CROs is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment
