Director of Clinical Science
Job Summary
Providing scientific and clinical leadership for Phase 1-3 clinical trials, the full-time salaried Director of Clinical Science will oversee protocol development, medical monitoring activities, and patient safety review in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Lead clinical trial planning and execution, ensuring participant safety and data integrity
- Develop and execute clinical pharmacology strategies, including dose selection and pharmacokinetic analyses
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, and Regulatory Affairs to support clinical development and regulatory submissions
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in clinical drug development, specifically in Phase 1-3 trials
- Proven expertise in protocol design, medical monitoring, and clinical trial execution
- Strong scientific writing skills with experience in authoring clinical protocols and regulatory documents
- Ability to manage multiple clinical programs in a fast-paced biotechnology environment
