Director of Clinical Supply Chain

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Supply Chain, this full-time salaried position will manage the end-to-end clinical supply chain remotely, ensuring the uninterrupted availability of investigational products for clinical development programs through collaboration with various internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead clinical supply strategy for global clinical trials, ensuring timely delivery of investigational products and ancillary supplies
• Oversee clinical supply planning, forecasting, inventory management, and vendor management to optimize resources and minimize waste
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate supply activities into development plans and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology clinical supply chain operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience supporting Phase 1 through Phase 3 clinical development programs, including global clinical trials
• Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end clinical supply chain management, including planning, forecasting, and logistics
• Strong knowledge of GxP, GMP, and global regulatory requirements governing clinical trial supplies
