Director of Clinical Vendor Management

Job Summary

Leading clinical vendor procurement and management strategies, the remote Senior Director of Clinical Vendor Procurement and Management will oversee vendor selection, contracting, and performance oversight to enhance operational efficiency and support clinical development programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical vendor procurement and outsourcing strategy, collaborating with Clinical Development Operations and other stakeholders
• Oversee vendor selection activities, including RFI/RFP development, bid analysis, and onboarding
• Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, budgets, and performance governance processes to ensure timely study execution

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, supply chain, or a related field
• 15 years of experience in clinical procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management within biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO environments
• Proven success in leading vendor strategy for Phase I-III clinical trials
• Strong experience with RFP processes, contract negotiation, and change order management
• Solid understanding of GxP and clinical trial operations
