Director of Cloud and DevOps

Job Summary

Leading cloud platform and DevOps initiatives, the full-time Director of Cloud and DevOps will manage infrastructure automation, ensure the reliability and security of cloud environments, and drive modern software delivery practices in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement cloud and DevOps strategies aligned with organizational goals and security requirements
• Oversee daily operations of cloud platforms and DevOps teams, ensuring high availability and reliability of services
• Manage and mentor cloud and DevOps teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or site reliability engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing cloud environments and automation programs, particularly with AWS
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code
• Experience selecting and managing cloud providers and strategic consulting partners
