Director of Cloud and DevOps

Job Summary

Leading the cloud platform and DevOps organizations, the full-time Director of Cloud and DevOps will manage cloud infrastructure, implement strategic initiatives for operational excellence, and ensure the reliability and security of cloud environments in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement cloud and DevOps strategies aligned with organizational goals and security requirements
• Oversee daily operations of cloud platforms and DevOps teams, ensuring high availability and reliability of services
• Lead and mentor teams in cloud engineering and DevOps practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or site reliability engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proficient in AWS, with preferred knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation practices
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead high-performing teams effectively
