Director of Cloud Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Cloud Delivery Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the platform engineering vision, transitioning to an automated Infrastructure as Code (IaC) model
• Build and lead a team of platform engineers, implementing agile methodologies and fostering a culture of automation
• Oversee the development of reusable IaC modules and ensure integration with enterprise systems

Required Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS and Azure services, with experience in multi-cloud architectures
• Proficiency in container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with CI/CD tools and GitOps practices
• Strong programming skills in Python, Bash/PowerShell, and YAML/JSON
