Director of Cloud Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Cloud Engineering (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and scale a cloud engineering organization supporting IoT services
• Define and execute the cloud platform strategy focusing on architecture, scalability, and security
• Establish engineering excellence practices and embed Site Reliability Engineering principles across teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years in cloud engineering, SRE, or platform leadership roles with AWS architecture experience
• Proven track record of building and scaling cloud engineering teams
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) preferred
• Experience with IoT cloud platforms and distributed systems is preferred
