Director of Collections Oversight

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Collections, Recovery & Loss Mitigation Oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent oversight of collections, recovery, and loss mitigation strategies, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and regulatory expectations
• Monitor collections and recovery performance and evaluate vendor management practices
• Ensure adherence to consumer protection laws and support regulatory exams and audits related to collections and recovery

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in consumer lending, credit risk, collections, recoveries, or loss forecasting
• Experience in a 2LOD risk management, model risk, or audit function
• Demonstrated expertise in collections and recovery strategies
• Working knowledge of U.S. consumer banking regulations
• Experience interacting with regulators, internal audit, or compliance functions preferred
