Director of Commercial Analytics

Job Summary

Leading the analytics department, the full-time salaried Director of Commercial Analytics will manage the company's sales, category, and commercial analytics functions, driving insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making while collaborating with senior leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of commercial analytics, including data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools
• Serve as the subject matter expert on syndicated and retailer data, translating insights into actionable recommendations
• Develop and maintain self-service reporting tools and dashboards to support various teams across the organization

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in sales analytics, category management, or commercial analytics, preferably in the CPG industry
• Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel capabilities, including financial modeling and data manipulation
• Demonstrated experience as a hands-on contributor with a strong background in reporting and analysis
• Ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to executive and customer-facing audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, or a related field
