Director of Commercial Finance

Job Summary

Overseeing the development of service line RFPs and proposals, the full-time salaried Director of Commercial Finance will manage RFP workflow within the team, train members in proposal preparation, and liaise with subject matter experts while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and direct RFP workflow across the Commercial Finance team, allocating tasks appropriately
• Develop and maintain RFP and proposal budget tools, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Gather business intelligence on competitor proposal strategies and support final RFP reviews

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
• 8 years of experience in a clinical research organization (CRO) proposals/contracts team or a minimum of 10 years in biotechnology or pharmaceutical budget/contract experience
• Experience in supporting and writing RFP responses
• 5 years of management experience
• High proficiency in Excel-based budget tools
