Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Communications to manage its communications strategies and media relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the organization's brand, messaging, and media engagement strategies
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with campaign goals
• Serve as press secretary and develop relationships with media, tracking coverage and managing press lists

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in nonprofit communications, public relations, or a related field
• Knowledge of media relations and placement strategies
• Experience with management and project management
• Familiarity with policy communications, preferably in reproductive health, rights, or justice
• Knowledge of design, digital media, and online engagement strategies
