Director of Communications

Job Summary

To support the scaling of drone delivery services, the remote full-time Director of Communications will design and implement an integrated communications strategy, manage external and internal messaging, and engage with regulatory bodies and community stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design a holistic internal and external communications strategy to support expansion into metropolitan markets
• Drive B2B and B2C communications to position Wing as a preferred delivery option for partners
• Oversee executive communications and lead a high-performing communications team across various disciplines

Required qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in strategic communications, public relations, or corporate affairs within consumer brands
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, Business, or equivalent experience
• Experience managing reputational risk and building corporate narratives during rapid scaling or regulatory scrutiny
• Proven track record of managing multifaceted communications teams
• Exceptional executive presence and experience advising C-suite leadership on crisis management
