Director of Communications

Job Summary

Providing strategic communication support in a remote capacity, the full-time salaried Director of Communications will develop and implement public relations strategies, manage online content, and assist with crisis communication while collaborating with various departments and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop proactive public/media relations resources and training for the Company and its hospitals
• Assist with real-time response to crisis events and manage communications for strategic initiatives
• Oversee online content and communication strategies for the Company's intranet, websites, and social media platforms

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience in communications or public relations
• Experience in crisis communication and reputation management
• Proficiency in managing online content and social media strategies
• Ability to collaborate with various departments and external experts
