Job Summary
To build and lead a comprehensive communications function, the full-time Director of Communications & Public Relations will develop and execute strategic PR initiatives, elevate affiliate attorneys as industry thought leaders, and manage media relationships, with the option to work remotely or from Chicago.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive PR and communications strategy aligned to business goals
- Elevate five market-facing attorneys as industry thought leaders through messaging and visibility plans
- Establish and manage relationships with media outlets and industry publications
Required qualifications:
- 8-12+ years of experience in PR, communications, or corporate affairs
- Proven track record building or scaling PR/communications programs
- Experience in professional services, legal, or regulated industries preferred
- Strong media relationships and success securing coverage
- Experience coaching executives or subject matter experts
