Director of Communications Managing

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managing Director of Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee communications strategies related to marketing, public education, and narrative change
• Develop and oversee marketing strategies and approaches to public education and narrative change
• Manage the organizations media relations and public affairs, and provide targeted technical assistance to state coalitions and local partners

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum ten to twelve years of experience in communications, journalism, and/or public relations/marketing
• Strong project management, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with computer applications, including experience with Microsoft Office and select communications platforms
• Experience working effectively with diverse individuals and groups
