Job Summary

To advance workforce development in healthcare, the full-time salaried Director of PRS-CHW Training & Apprenticeships will lead the implementation of a $2.3M HRSA-funded initiative, managing the HRSAPRS-CHW Workforce Development Program and serving as a liaison among community partners, apprentices, and the college.

Key responsibilities
  • Establish and manage the HRSAPRS-CHW Workforce Development Program, ensuring effective program planning and evaluation
  • Coordinate training activities and facilitate communication among community sites, apprentices, and partners
  • Monitor grant deliverables and address participant retention and program outcome barriers
Required qualifications
  • Master's degree in a healthcare-related discipline or enrollment in a related graduate program with graduation pending within 6-8 months
  • Experience with apprenticeships and community health workers (CHWs)
  • Experience overseeing training projects and supporting community-based organizations through higher education partnerships
  • Knowledge of healthcare and interdisciplinary models of care, as well as curriculum development
  • Ability to build and manage teams effectively
