Director of Compliance

Job Summary

To support a growing compliance department, the full-time Director of Compliance will manage risk measurement, control design, and policy governance while working remotely and partnering closely with the VP of Compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify compliance gaps and maintain a risk register to prioritize program focus
• Design and implement controls that integrate compliance requirements into daily operations
• Lead compliance staff and coordinate regulatory examinations, ensuring effective communication and documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; compliance certification (e.g., CRCM) is a plus
• 7+ years of experience in financial regulatory compliance, with at least 5 years in a senior role, preferably in auto lending
• Strong knowledge of federal and state financial services laws and regulations
• Experience in scaling compliance programs in fast-paced environments
• Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders to drive business initiatives
