Director of Compliance and Risk Management
Job Summary
Providing enterprise-level leadership and strategic guidance, the full-time salaried Director of Compliance and Risk Management will develop and oversee the System's risk and compliance framework while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a System-wide Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and reporting standards
- Monitor regulatory changes and provide strategic briefings to executive leadership and the Board
- Lead cross-functional governance committees and facilitate enterprise risk assessments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Seven to ten years of experience in enterprise risk management, compliance, or governance
- Knowledge of higher education governance and federal financial aid requirements
- Demonstrated success in advising executive leadership and presenting to senior committees
- Familiarity with recognized ERM frameworks such as COSO ERM or ISO 31000
