Director of Compliance and Safety

Job Summary

The full-time salaried Director of Compliance and Safety will lead and scale Stord's enterprise HSS function across a multi-site fulfillment network, focusing on occupational safety, physical security, loss prevention, and compliance to enhance operational integrity and support business growth in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Compliance Program Managers and site-level HSS professionals, fostering a high-performance culture
• Oversee the execution of enterprise compliance programs, ensuring they are current, enforced, and audit-ready across all facilities
• Drive risk management initiatives by identifying and mitigating enterprise-level HSS risks, while integrating HSS into business decisions across functions

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in health, safety, security, or compliance leadership, with at least 3 years in a director-level role
• Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary HSS teams in complex logistics environments
• Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, GMP/GDP, DOT, and related regulatory frameworks
• Experience in enterprise compliance program design and performance management
• Preferred credentials include CSP or equivalent safety certification, and familiarity with compliance management systems
