Director of Compliance Operations

Job Summary

Transforming compliance operations into a proactive function, the full-time remote Director of Compliance Operations will lead a team to set strategic direction, manage compliance across multiple states, and partner with Product and Engineering to implement tech-enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for Compliance Operations, managing compliance across employment law and home care licensing
• Continuously assess compliance risks and streamline operational processes to meet regulatory requirements
• Lead state licensing audits and ensure operational readiness for new markets and service offerings

Required qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in operations, product operations, or compliance roles within a technology-first or high-growth company
• Demonstrated experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions
• Track record of developing functional areas for scale, including systems and processes that proactively address compliance issues
• Exceptional analytical skills with experience working with large, complex data sets and developing operational KPIs
• Strong cross-functional leadership and people management experience, including building high-performing teams
