Director of Construction

Job Summary

Overseeing a portfolio of large, complex projects, the full-time remote Director of Construction will provide executive oversight, support Project Executives throughout project phases, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while maintaining full P&L responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for large, high-profile construction projects and ensure consistent execution and performance
• Lead project forecasting, margin performance, and recovery planning while managing financial performance
• Champion the company's safety culture and ensure effective utilization of Project Controls across all assigned projects

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in industrial or large commercial construction
• Proven leadership of large-scale projects and multi-project portfolios
• Demonstrated success with full P&L accountability
• Strong knowledge of project controls, contracts, and risk management
• Relevant certifications such as SPMP, PMP, CCM, or equivalent, along with OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR
