Director of Construction

Job Summary

Providing executive oversight for a portfolio of large-scale mechanical construction projects, the full-time salaried Director of Construction will manage project execution, support Project Executives, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while operating remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the execution and performance of complex projects, maintaining full P&L responsibility
• Lead executive-level project reviews and guide Project Executives in recovery planning when needed
• Champion the company's safety culture and ensure consistent application of safety programs across projects

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in industrial or large commercial construction
• Proven leadership of large-scale projects and multi-project portfolios
• Demonstrated success with full P&L accountability
• Strong knowledge of project controls, contracts, and risk management
• Relevant certifications such as SPMP, PMP, or CCM, along with OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR
