Director of Construction

Job Summary

Providing executive oversight for a portfolio of large, complex projects, the full-time salaried Director of Construction will ensure consistent execution and performance while supporting Project Executives throughout all project phases, including planning and closeout, in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project forecasting, margin performance, and change strategy while maintaining full P&L responsibility for assigned projects
• Lead executive-level project reviews and mentor Project Executives, ensuring adherence to company policies and performance expectations
• Champion safety culture and quality standards across projects, collaborating with leadership to mitigate risks and drive continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in industrial or large commercial construction
• Proven leadership of large-scale projects and multi-project portfolios
• Demonstrated success with full P&L accountability
• Strong knowledge of project controls, contracts, and risk management
• SPMP, PMP, CCM, or equivalent certifications, along with OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR training
