Director of Contracts

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Contracts to lead and manage the contracts function.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Contracts Division, establishing scalable workflows, policies, and systems
• Draft, redline, negotiate, and manage a wide range of agreements including employment and vendor contracts
• Implement a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system and maintain a centralized contracts repository

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or corporate legal departments
• Proven experience implementing contract systems or CLM platforms
• Strong knowledge of employment agreements and commercial contracts
• Experience in a scaling organization or private equity-backed company is preferred
• Organized and capable of managing competing priorities
