Director of Core Network Engineering

Job Summary

Director of Core Network Engineering is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the architecture, design, and governance of core network infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability for various customer services.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain end-to-end network architecture and establish technology roadmaps
• Oversee engineering for backbone and aggregation networks, ensuring compliance with performance and security standards
• Lead capacity planning and vendor management to support growth initiatives and operational readiness

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of ten years of experience in service provider or large-scale network engineering
• Minimum of five years of experience leading engineering teams in complex network environments
• Deep expertise in optical transport, IP/MPLS, Ethernet, and access aggregation
