Director of Corporate Accounting

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Director of Corporate Accounting, this full-time remote position will manage day-to-day corporate accounting functions, ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX 404 regulations, and drive operational efficiencies while mentoring a growing global team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute the month-end close process, financial reporting, and global consolidation with high operational autonomy
• Investigate complex discrepancies in transactional data and reconcile intricate accounts alongside the accounting team
• Implement process improvements and technology solutions to streamline accounting cycles and enhance financial controls

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles at publicly traded or late-stage pre-IPO companies
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Expert-level knowledge of US GAAP, financial statement preparation, and SOX 404 compliance
• Experience managing accounting teams across multiple timezones
• Strong familiarity with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, and a keen interest in AI tools for workflow optimization
