Director of Corporate Development
Job Summary
Proactively driving strategic growth, the full-time salaried Director of Corporate Development will build and lead a new Corporate Development function, focusing on investments, M&A, and special projects while collaborating closely with the executive team in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Build and scale the Corporate Development function, establishing processes for deal sourcing and execution
- Source, evaluate, and execute strategic investments and M&A opportunities aligned with VAST's long-term vision
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform corporate strategy and manage the end-to-end deal process
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; MBA preferred
- 8+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or VC/PE, focusing on tech M&A
- Exceptional modeling skills and experience with complex businesses in high-growth markets
- Outstanding communication skills, including experience presenting to executives and investors
- Highly driven with a strong ownership mentality and deep intellectual curiosity
