Director of Cost Management

Job Summary

Leading a team of Cost Managers, the full-time salaried Director of Cost Management will oversee the delivery of cost management services for a large-scale construction project while ensuring service excellence and client engagement, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead a cost management team to deliver on all accountabilities and maintain client communications
• Conduct research on construction market conditions and produce thought leadership reports for valuable insights
• Develop and implement strategic plans for cost management services, including resource planning, financial management, and process improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred
• 15+ years of relevant cost management or quantity surveying experience
• 2+ years of experience managing high-performing cost management teams in a consulting environment
• Proven track record of successful cost management service delivery for clients in the construction sector
