Director of Credit
Job Summary
Driving the company's credit performance, the full-time remote Director of Credit will analyze portfolio performance, develop credit strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance lending products and risk management frameworks.
Key responsibilities
- Own credit portfolio performance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and refine credit strategies that balance growth, risk management, and customer experience
- Lead analytical investigations into portfolio performance and borrower behavior to inform strategic decisions
Required qualifications
- 8-12+ years of experience in credit risk, lending analytics, or credit strategy within fintech or financial services
- Strong expertise in credit portfolio analytics, underwriting strategy, and risk management
- Advanced experience with large datasets and statistical analysis using SQL and Python
- Experience collaborating with data science teams on predictive modeling or risk model development
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred
