Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Credit Balance Resolution & Underpayment Detection.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team focused on investigating and resolving credit balances on patient and payer accounts
• Oversee the review and processing of refund requests, ensuring compliance with payer and regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement processes for detecting underpayments and drive process improvements using data and technology

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Experience with large EMRs/practice management systems and healthcare financial systems
• Proven ability to manage vendor partnerships and implement technology-driven process improvements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from large datasets
