Director of Cybersecurity

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Director of Cybersecurity, this role will manage the enterprise cybersecurity program to protect sensitive client financial data, overseeing security strategy, operations, and incident response while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise cybersecurity strategy and multi-year roadmap, presenting progress to executive leadership
• Manage incident response for cybersecurity incidents and maintain the incident response plan through regular exercises
• Lead the governance, risk, and compliance program, including SOC 2 Type II audit management and PCI DSS compliance

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in information security, with 5+ years leading security teams or programs
• Experience in securing regulated environments handling sensitive client data, preferably in a hypergrowth, acquisition-driven context
• Deep knowledge of NIST CSF 2.0, SOC 2 Type II, and PCI DSS
• Hands-on experience with EDR, SIEM, identity and access management, and Zero Trust platforms
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification preferred; Azure security certifications are a plus
