Director of Cybersecurity Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of enterprise cybersecurity and identity management controls, the full-time remote Director of Cybersecurity Engineering will advance cybersecurity capabilities, manage global teams, and ensure the protection of assets and client data in a highly regulated financial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the enterprise cybersecurity engineering program, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Define and execute security architecture and engineering standards to mature cybersecurity toolsets across various platforms
• Build and mentor high-performing teams across cybersecurity engineering and identity management, promoting a culture of innovation and accountability

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security engineering and operations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, or OSCP are preferred
• Experience managing global teams and security operations in large, regulated organizations, preferably in financial services
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity in the Cloud and experience in implementing a Zero Trust program
