Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data to lead and develop its data functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow a team in data engineering, analytics engineering, data analysis, and data science
• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for data infrastructure and analytics capabilities
• Oversee the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Experience scaling data infrastructure and teams in a fast-growing startup environment
• Deep understanding of modern data architectures, data modeling, and pipeline design
• Proven ability to create and execute long-term data strategy while delivering immediate business impact
• Hands-on experience with modern data tools such as Snowflake, dbt, and Looker
• Track record of excellent people management, especially in hiring and developing talent
