Director of Data

Job Summary

Leading the evolution of a data ecosystem, the full-time remote Director of Data will define data strategy, manage a small team, and oversee the migration to Snowflake while optimizing analytics and reporting for business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute Rugiet's data strategy, managing a team of analysts/data engineers
• Lead the migration to Snowflake, optimizing ETL pipelines and establishing data governance standards
• Partner with Product and Engineering to develop data-driven personalization and machine learning features

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in Data & Analytics with 2+ years in a leadership role, preferably in high-growth DTC or telehealth
• Hands-on experience with modern data stacks including Snowflake, ETL tools, and BI platforms
• Advanced SQL skills and strong data modeling capabilities
• Proven ability to turn complex data into actionable insights for executives
• Strong understanding of data governance and privacy/security practices
