Director of Data Analytics

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data and Analytics to lead their analytics organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the analytics vision and roadmap, balancing stakeholder needs with long-term investments
• Serve as a technical escalation point for complex modeling and metric definition challenges while overseeing the Analytics Data Platform
• Lead and grow analytics teams, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in senior roles in analytics, analytics engineering, or BI Engineering
• 3+ years of experience leading analytics teams
• Hands-on experience with dbt, SQL, and modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, semantic layers, and metric governance
• Experience delivering dashboards and reports with BI solutions
