Director of Data Analytics

Job Summary

To build a modern data organization from the ground up at a high-growth consumer startup, the full-time remote Director of Data Analytics will shape the vision and strategy for Data Analytics and Data Science, manage a data organization, and leverage AI to enhance business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set the vision and strategy for Data Analytics and Data Science while partnering with Data Engineering to modernize data infrastructure
• Own the data platform, including pipelines, warehousing, modeling, governance, and reliability, while developing predictive and machine learning models
• Champion data-driven decision-making across the company by creating dashboards and analytical tools for self-service and automating insights

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, and Data Engineering, with at least 3+ years in leadership roles
• Proven experience with modern data stacks such as Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience in building and maintaining production-level data pipelines and machine learning models
• Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and statistical analysis for experimentation
