Director of Data and AI

Job Summary

To lead the enterprise data engineering strategy and accelerate AI adoption in healthcare, the full-time salaried Director of Data and AI will design cloud-based data platforms, implement AI initiatives, and manage a high-performing team in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data engineering and AI enablement initiatives aligned with business strategy
• Design and evolve modern cloud-based data platforms, including data lakehouse and warehouse architectures
• Establish responsible AI practices, governance, security, and ethical standards across the organization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in data engineering, data architecture, analytics, or AI
• Experience building modern cloud-based data platforms and enterprise data solutions
• Demonstrated success leading AI or machine learning initiatives from strategy through implementation
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices
