Director of Data Architecture

Job Summary

Leading multiple teams in a remote capacity, the full-time salaried Director of Data Architecture will oversee architecture for large Azure programs, connect business goals to cloud modernization roadmaps, and mentor technical leaders while ensuring high performance and alignment with service line priorities.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage team dynamics, growth, and performance while fostering a culture of trust and collaboration
• Define and lead architecture and technical strategy for Azure programs, ensuring solutions meet client goals
• Mentor senior architects and engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement across teams

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred
• 12+ years of experience delivering solutions in domains such as application development, cloud platform engineering, or data and analytics
• 7+ years of experience in solution architecture and leading development or engineering teams
• Deep architectural expertise with Databricks and strong understanding of Azure-native data services
• Proven experience leading Azure-based modernization and transformation programs at enterprise scale
